Difficulty setting personality after installing new user interface control board

Main Symptom: cannot program new user interface control board
What happens & when: All lights flash when plugged in. I press and hold start button, but nothing happens. When I release start button, all goes black.

With the unit not allowing you to program the board, it sounds like a there could be a communication issue. Double check all connections to make sure that there are no loose or damaged wires. If this is not the case then you may have received a faulty board.
