Dacor Range top DRT366SNG - One burner ignitor will not stop clicking

Brand:Dacor
Model Number:DRT366SNG
Main Symptom:One burner igniter wont stop clicking even after flame is steady for a long time.
What happens & when:Igniter clicks and turns on burner OK but wont stop

Error Code (if any) NA
Parts or tests already tried: Tried the following

Cleaned ignitor head with cotton swab rubbing alcohol. No visible crack. The flame is actually hitting the ignitor head when on and flame pattern is steady and good.

Tried replacing the Ignitor module for this burner - DE81-07650A. It seemed to not click for 10 seconds but started again and clicks all the time.. i.e no change in symptoms.

Tested the “microwave switch” for this burner that gets pressed when the knob is turned to see if is stuck and this is OK.

I read the other forum on grounding. I took a bare copper wire to touch the burner head and the metallic body of the rangetop when the burner was on and clicking . That did not stop the clicking either.

I am at a loss. Is something wrong with the 18K Simmer burner (DE81-04424A) or the whole valve (103689-01)?

Like I said flame is good and burner operates fine. Just the clicking is getting on our nerves.

Please advise

Also, the clicking happens only when we turn on the burner, it stops the as soon as we turn it off.
