Dacor Electric Oven Temperature Uneven

Main Symptom: Smaller (Left) Oven Temperature is very uneven
What happens & when:

We are new to this home so we don’t have much history on this oven and its use. This is a Dacor ERD48 LP Gas Range with two electric ovens (circa 2005). The larger (right) oven works fine. The smaller (left) oven never gets to the right temperature. Sometimes it is too high. Usually it is too low. I have tried a variety of temperatures from 150 up to 500.

I’m guessing it is the oven sensor but I do not have experience with electric ovens so I’m not sure if it could be the element and I don’t know how to diagnose what the root problem is. Any suggestions? Thank you.

For this issue, test the element and ensure it is good. Then do a resistance check on the oven probe/Sensor using a multimeter. If the element and the sensor are both good, the issue is likely a control.
