My daughter recently moved to a new apartment, she had her Crosley Washing Machine moved to her new apartment from storage. It has been in storage for almost two years. She indicated that prior to being put into storage it was operating fine. She called and said that it is not spinning. She says that the washer fills, agitates, drains but it will not spin. I have never heard of this brand washing machine. I have no idea if this is a belt or transmission washer. Since I am going to visit her next week, perhaps you could provide some info on what I am going to encounter and the possible cause for this malfunction. Your feedback is appreciated. 
This is a direct drive washer made by Whirlpool. There could a few different things causing such problem and we need more information from you for more accurate advise. Try to open and close the lid while it is draining or try to advance the timer a little bit. If it will start ti spin then the timer is bad.
If this is not the issue then run it, listen to noises and post the results.
