Main Symptom:Water dispenser not working
What happens & when: When dispenser paddle is depressed there is a faint hum, but no water is dispensed
Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: Verified that the line is not frozen by redirecting water returning from the filter to the dispenser and water flows. Verified that there is power to the yellow water dispenser valve when paddle is depressed. Looking to confirm my diagnosis that the problem is the valve had broken before I order the new valve.

If there is power to the water valve when the paddle is depressed then this will be a faulty valve.
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, a new valve assembly has not resolved the issue. I carefully transferred the hose lines and connectors one at a time so that I could be sure to get them in the correct locations. All hooked up, water turned back on and no water from dispenser. I do however get a louder noise as if some valve is attempting to open. I did switch the filter and dispenser lines again to verify I had water flowing from the house water line AND that the line into the fridge door was not frozen. Again I did get water out of the dispenser this way. Any additional suggestions? What can I test?
