Condenser causes breaker to trip. Continuity reads 2.9ohms across all & ground

What does this mean? Sounds good right? I read I believe if the readings are the same it’s a 3 phase system(?). Main breaker IMMEDIATELY trips when condenser is connected. Hoping to get some info/education on this to be as prepared as possible and know enough not to get scammed before hiring someone to look at it.

This is a generic unit in guessing. Says “Softsound 1200” over the top, right over the fan. “ComfortMaker” on the side. “International comfort products” on the info panel. Anyone know anything on these or HVAC systems in general? Thanks

Did you resolve the problem?

Yes, thanks. Got my compressor and refrigerant replaced.
