Regardless of where I set the water temperature on my signature washer, the washer fills with warm to hot water. I have been told that it is probably the cold water valve is not working. Does this sound right?

I’m looking at the model number you posted does your washer only have one knob on the control board?
Yes, it is a very simple washing machine. The water inlets are on the left side of the back of the machine and close to the top. Can you tell me where I can see a diagram of the washer?
They don’t have one on this site< I checked. But you can go to searspartsdirect and see the breakdown. You can see basically what I look at…but you can’t get on the sites I go to.
