Often when I do a load of laundry, some piece of clothing will get a corner “stuck” in the area where the drum meets the door. When I manage to release the clothing, the part that was stuck is invariably covered with dark brown streaks that I have not been able to remove. Any insight on what could be causing this?

Sounds like you and I have the same problem. I have a slightly different model of Frigidaire dryer. I posted my problem yesterday. I’ve been told by a couple of people that I need a new drum slide kit and a new gasket. I’m trying to find out if that’s right and how difficult the install is. Have you heard anything more on yours? Maybe we can help each other out!
