Clogged capillary

Repairing an LG refrigerator with syptoms of a clogged capillary. Some cooling, low refrigerant flow, very low compressor current, low side in a low vacumm. Vacumed the system down, then pressurized it and unwound the capillary spool, then precision cut it. Got good air flow from the dryer side and the evaporator side, no oil or particles I could see came out.
Silver soldered the cap tube and re-charged the system. Everthing came back to normal, no syptoms of a clogged capillary.
Hope somebody has seen this before, maybe the cap line cutting was not necessary? Maybe just vacuming the system cleared the jam.

Rich as a certified LG technician they have had a problem with inserting the cap tube too far into the drier causing a slight restriction, the fix is a longer tailed drier or simply dont insert cap tube so far into drier
