Clear silicone sealant in drain check valve

I noticed my dishwasher wasn’t draining. It’s been plugged before so I didn’t think much of it and began to look for the clog. Upon removing and inspecting the check valve, I found clear silicone sealant behind the flap. I started taking the upper part of the pump assm. apart and found more pieces of sealant. Where is this sealant used so I know what’s coming apart.

Source of the silicone was found. After further inspection of the pieces, it looks to be the remains of a silicone valve for one of my daughter’s sippy cups. Thanks for looking anyways.
