I have a Whirlpool Dryer that I replaced the heating element on. I have the Thermostat part no. 8318268 I checked the two larger terminals and it reads 0 like it should. When I check the two terminals in the center nothing happens. I do not get any reading at all. I saw on the internet that they should read 9 ohms. Should I be resetting the meater to try to get a reading for those terminals.

It is for a LW1, cannot find one for a LW0. It should be very close if not the same.
Yes try higher settings 20K or 200K depending on the meter.
It should be about 5,000 ohms.
