Can't reset error code

I have a GE Hydrowave washer that quit agitating and spinning. The motor was bad, the LED was not blinking at all and the fuse was blown. I replaced the fuse and replaced the motor with a used motor. Powered up, and the LED was blinking 4 times, bad shifter coil. I ohmed the coil, it was open and when I removed the shifter, the plastic piece was shattered so it was definitely bad. Replaced the shifter, checked resistance, 68 ohms. Powered up and LED still blinks 4 times. Tried all of the reset sequences, lid lifting etc., and still cannot reset the error code.

Well you have put a lot of time and work into this repair, sorry it hasn’t gone better.

The obvious diagnosis is that that the used motor was bad and will not reset. See if the place you bought it from will give you a replacement to try.

This is very similar to what is happening to mine. After replacing the blown fuse. I can’t reset the motor error code. Didn’t need to replace the motor or shifter coil thankfully.
