Cannot recognize burnt piece coming off off oven igniter

Oven was slow to heat. I can’t figure out what this dark piece is/was. There are 4 wires on the other end of it. Seems like this harness may be hard to find? I have a new igniter. Can I wire nut it below this piece?

Yes that is what of the original plug. According to the wiring diagram if you attach one of the white covered wires to one black wire and the white braided wire to the other you should be good to go
