Oven was slow to heat. I can’t figure out what this dark piece is/was. There are 4 wires on the other end of it. Seems like this harness may be hard to find? I have a new igniter. Can I wire nut it below this piece?
Yes that is what of the original plug. According to the wiring diagram if you attach one of the white covered wires to one black wire and the white braided wire to the other you should be good to go
Both of the wires coming off the burnt end are yellow. One of the yellow is shorter than the other. If I’m looking at the igniter mounted, do you know if the top wire would go to the short one or the long one? Don’t want to mix it up and fry something. Thanks
They can go either way the one wire is power the other ground.
