Sounds like you may have a clog somewhere. When you say Burning out, is the element wires actually separating or are the thermostats or fuses blowing
vent is full 4 inch pvc pipe clean all the way out. It is burning the wire into on the element
In some cases if its just the wire ends burning but not the connector on the heater that can be caused by loose connections
