All the burners on top do not light by their electronic igniters even though I see them click on all burners. I can light them manually and on every burner the flame is alway on like low. In the oven I can turn it on and it will ignite on its own but the flame only travels half way down the piping.
My friend (Who is not a professional) a “Mr. Fit It” says its gotta be my pressure regulator. I believe him because it seems to be the only part that controls both the top burners and the oven. I would feel better spending the money on a new regulator if this could be verified.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Oh is there a way to test the regulator?
Thanks a bunch
Jason
I would check and clean your stove top orifices, and make sure the crossover on the oven pipe. to clean the orifices on top, I use a small piece of wire to clean the hole. I always like to do the free or inexpensive things first.
I cleaned the orvices on top with a torch tip cleaner and still no help. I dont understand “make sure the crossover on the oven pipe” Please elaborrate thanks much!
Towards the front of the burner tube is a slit so the gas can travel to the other side of the burner
I cleaned orfices w/ torch tip cleaner (a set of them). Still same result. I also do not understand “make sure over crossover post”
ok got it will check thanks again
Sounds like the pressure regulator to me, try to give the pressure regulator a couple of whacks with the handle of a screwdriver to see if it is hung up. I have to do that with my BBQ everynow and again.
