Any tips on removing the door panel so I can get to the fascia panel to replace the control panel? Should I remove all screws or are only a few necessary to remove panel such as the three screws on either side of the inside of the door on the raised section? Any advice greatly appreciated!

Gene,
I got the control module in this morning no problem. I started the washer up about 45 minutes ago and everything seemed to be going fine until suddenly I heard a pop. Not sure what it may have been. The machine is still running.

Well, the machine finished and says clean and sanitized. I’ll report back after the next wash.
In the meantime I’m going to solder the old control module where it melted the contact as a backup plan…

Ran a second time - no problems. Not sure what the pop was. Happy with repair and saved a couple hundred bucks doing it myself.

You are welcome Pete. I’m glad you were able to fix it.
