Dishwasher shows no sign of life.
Have traced good voltage to the start / mechanical door switch and beyond. Switch contacts are clean and intact. appears to bridge three sets of contacts- hot, neutral and ???
Have traced hot to the control unit , neutral is a little confusing and the third set seems idle.
Would like to think that it is a bad control unit but I am looking for suggestions to prove it. Would hate to spend the money for the panel to find it is not the issue or worse, damage it upon install.
Any further testing or ideas as to what to expect at the control unit for voltage at terminals. I would like to see it at least light up even if it failed to cycle.
The very left plug on the control module is where 120V is coming there. When the door switch is closed, you should read 120V between 1 & 2 (incoming) and between 1 & 3 (outgoing through the door switch to the fill valve and the water level switch).
If there is 120V coming to the control module and it does nothing then the control module has to be replaced.
Tested as per your instructions and concluded that I should replace module.
Plugged the replacement in, stood back, crossed my fingers, closed my eyes and cautiously pushed the start button.
Very strange noises began.. things I had not heard in over a week. Water filling and splashing…and of course shreeks of excitement from my wife in the background.
The Dishwasher is alive again and another marriage is saved.
