I have recently changed the heated pump on this unit, and the water is still not hot. I’m being told that the “next” thing to change is the main board. But I’d like to pick your brain on that idea.

Being you replaced the circulation pump that houses the heating element, the only thing left is the control board.

Out of curiosity… if that doesn’t fix the issue… what would be the next thing?

Maybe wiring, the board sends voltage to the heater/circulation motor. That is about it.
