Ice Maker doesn’t sense that bucket is out of ice. Once a week or so it drops the ice and I hear the water turn on to refill but have to wait another 4-6 days for ice to drop again. Not having any issues with water dispenser it’s just an ice issue. Also, it’s not giving me an error code. I’ve turned the refrigerator on and off a few times and changed the water filter. Any suggestions?
The ice maker 11036056 has two optics on it that can get frost accumulating on them. It is recommended that these two optics are cleaned with a cotton swab. If the problem still persists, the next step would be identifying if the freezer temperature is maintaining 0°F. If it is, the ice maker would be the likely cause of failure.
