Bosch Dishwasher won’t fill. SHE5AL06UC/05

Brand:Bosch
**Model Number:**SHE5AL06UC/05
Main Symptom:Won’t fill

On regular cycle the drain pump kicks on and operates but will not fill with water. Drain pump kicks back on and the cycle ends and shows clean.
The pump works when the float is pulled manually.
When I put it in the Customer Service Program mode everything works fine and it cleans the dishes.
If I manually fill it with water and activate it in regular mode it drains and does not refill.
I removed the drain hose from the disposal and ran it straight into the sink and it seems to drain fine.
Filter and sump basin are clean.
Found a very small spring in the bottom of the tub but not sure if it’s related.
Failure storage codes indicate a problem with the drain pump but it seems to work fine.

If the dispenser doors do not seem to be missing anything, I am not sure where the spring would have came from. Regarding the draining issue, since the water can be drained using the pump, the drain pump resistance would need to be tested to identify if the windings are causing the power module to sense that there is still excess water. With the power supply turned off, the power module top cover can be removed and the wires at connection 4 disconnected. This wire connection will have three black wires and three gray wires. The gray wires would need to be tested for resistance and should measure between 88-95 Ohms when tested to each other. If the resistance checks good, and there were no obstructions, the power module would be the likely cause of failure. 00701523 Control (Electronic Control Board) | Genuine Bosch OEM In Stock
