Bosch dishwasher no power

Bosch dishwasher suddenly has no power. Worked the previous day normal without issue. Checked circuit breaker which did not trip and outlet has power. Checked power cord and has power at dishwasher connection. Is there a thermal fuse or either the Power module, controls module or something else.

Water has run down the counter and from the sink overflowing but don’t see any evidence of water anywhere when I pulled out the dishwasher.

Appreciate any troubleshooting. Thanks.

Alex

Let’s try resetting the power module. Start with Method 1. If that doesn’t bring the dishwasher back to life, move on to Method 2.

Method 1: Basic Power Module Reset

  1. Make sure the door is closed and the dishwasher is turned on.

  2. Press and hold Start for about 5 seconds.

    • The display should show 01 or 00.
  3. Press On/Off to turn the dishwasher off.

Method 2: Advanced Power Module Reset

Before you begin: Disconnect power to the dishwasher.

  1. Remove the toe panel.

  2. Disconnect the drain pump harness from the drain pump.

  3. Tape the harness connector so it cannot touch anything.

  4. Restore power to the dishwasher.

  5. With the door closed, press On/Off to turn the dishwasher on.

    • You should hear the power module and relays clicking.
  6. Leave it powered on for about 30 seconds, then press On/Off to turn it off.

  7. Disconnect power again.

  8. Reconnect the drain pump harness and reinstall the toe panel.

  9. Restore power.

  10. Close the door and press On/Off to turn the dishwasher on.

If the dishwasher still has no power after completing both reset procedures, let us know and we’ll be happy to help with the next troubleshooting steps.
