I had a broken impeller on my circulating pump. I got the kit and was able to get it swapped. It had a larger O-ring/gasket and i couldn’t get the pump to lock in, so I used the old one which still seemed in good shape. Got it all back together and had a small leak coming from somewhere around that pump motor. I figured it must be that gasket. So I pulled it apart again and after some blood, sweat and cursing, I got the pump back together. Ran it again and still have seemingly the same leak. It’s so tight in there, even with the unit pulled out and sides off, I can’t see exactly where the leak is coming from. It ends up right under that motor though. It’s very small. Just enough to get over to the safety float. I’m not sure what else to check to try and fix. The rest of the cycle seems to run well, so I don’t think it’s a housing thing. Any ideas?
