Bosch dishwasher - Help reconnecting on/off switch wiring

Main Symptom: DIY wiring mishap
What happens & when: The wires connecting the lower plug of the power on/off switch to the back of the dispenser have come out of the lower plug by accident. I was removing the front door panel, and it dropped harder than expected ripping the leads out of the lower plug. It looks easy enough to reconnect the two wires, but I am not certain which wire goes to which contact. Both wires are brown.

For the Bosch SHX863WD5N/13 dishwasher, the official tech sheet and wiring diagram are typically tucked inside a sealed plastic sleeve, usually glued beneath the unit’s outer door panel or behind the toe-kick at the bottom of the machine.

I have also attached a copy of the wiring diagram for reference

Thank you Jeffrey! Unfortunately, it seems my ability to interpret the wiring diagram is too rudimentary! I may have to call for help.

What is the colors of the wires to the switch

Both wires are brown

Does it have a coupler on it? The wires can be plugged in either way since its a simple on off switch

It seems to me that either way makes sense, since the wires are indistinguishable.

Yes I think where it pulled out is called the coupler.

Thank you for the help! I am going to start a new thread to get back to the project that led me to this problem in the first place. It’s an E23 code. I ran into this wiring mishap while working on that. I’ll report back here on the wiring issue once I open the door up again and, hopefully, fix it!

This one worked out OK. I reassembled the on/off switch, and it’s working properly.
