My Bosch dishwasher gets water, and seems to drain okay, but the water simply doesn’t get to the upper spray arm. When I interupt the cycle, and open the door, I can see water spewing about an inch or so out of the lower arm holes. The spray arm does not appear to have even been spinning. No water appears to be getting to the uppler arm. I’ve cleaned the filters, etc.. and seen to it that the arms themselves are clear of food stuff, etc…still no wash!
Does the pump typically wear out after 10-12 years? If so, is it worthwhile to replace it? If so, can you provide instruction on how to replace it and do you folks have the parts to do it?
Hi.
Most likely you do need a new circulation pump. For the correct part number please provide the complete model number including two numbers after the slash.
Thank you.
Simon.
The model number is SHU3322UC/U06
I’d appreciate a price and availability, as well as instructions of how to replace it.
Thanks!
This is the older model and Bosh does not sell the complete pump & motor assembly for this model.
Per your description on the problem it is possible that the motor itself still good. In such situation you can fix the pump, using the repair kit. You can buy this kit for only $65.50 from APP and, if you can do it yourself, then and it’s worth to do it.
If the motor is bad too then the DIY repair will cost you about $210 and you have to think if it’s worth it.
The instructions are attached to the reply.
Gene.
