Recurring E15 error
After about 10 years this dishwasher is acting up. The first E15 error was 3 days ago, which I resolved by opening up the base of the unit, mopping up water, etc. Then same thing again this morning. There have been no changes to the rinse aid or dishwasher pods. There’s no water outside the unit, only inside the base. The door is perfectly level. The pump seems fine - dishes are clean and dry, no water inside the dishwasher itself. My only guess is maybe the dishwasher door isn’t fully sealing - the right side of the door is perfectly clean, the right side outer edge where it would meet the gasket is a little tacky. The base of the dishwasher where the door meets the lower seal looks pristine and the lower door seal itself feels fine, still flexible and not sticky. I repeated the same steps again but don’t know how to prevent this happening again.

Error Code (if any): E15

There are a few things that could be causing this. The best way to narrow it down is to clear the water out, start a cycle, and watch the base pan with the kickplate off. That way you can see if the leak is coming from the circulation pump, the drain pump, or if it’s trickling down from the water inlet side.

If you see it trickling from the inlet side, that usually means the water valve’s built-in pressure reducer has failed. 10023852 Water Inlet Valve | Genuine Bosch OEM In Stock
