Fuse blows when door opens. I do not have a wiring diagram and Whirlpool state that there isn’t one available even though the unit is only 2 years old. Anybody have access to a diagram for the unit?
if the fuse blows when you open the door, one of your door switches is bad.
some switches close when door opens and some open. there are probably 4.
since the switches are relatively cheap, replace them all
I found one switch that was bad and replaced it. That switch had a fused contact. I’ll replace the others as you suggested. Any idea why it is impossible to find a wiring diagram for this unit? There is usually one glued to the cabinet. thanks
