Blocked wash arm

When dishwasher is running , get error message “blocked wash arm”. Even get message when running empty dishwasher. Nothing is blocking arm and drain hose is ok. What could my problem be??/

Make sure all holes in the spray arm are open.

Remove the lower spray arm and the top part of the pump. Remove the pump filter (#6 on the diagram) and the rinse arm assembly (#7) and clean them using white vinegar and a soft metal brush.
