I had worn out upper guide/seal replaced both upper and lower since lower also had rust stains and was flattened out at one area. double checked part numbers.after re-assembly the effort to turn the basket/drum is significantly more. and when drying the drum will actually sieze to the point of turning off the motor. will move again when cold. rear bearing is good. fit looks good. took it apart 2 times to check. with belt off drum/basket is still difficult to turn?
When you installed both seals, especially the power seal, they both have to stretched and an extra pieces on the end of each have to be cut off.
If you have the glue leftover, remove the seals and reattach them.
