The capacitor has gone bad on the motor of my GE dishwaher. I cannot locate a part number for it and I don’t want to buy a whole motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The capacitor does not look like it is available as a separate part.
You could take the part number and other info off the capacitor and see if you can find a replacement on line or from a local electronics parts supplier.
Digikey is an online retailer that has lots of parts but there are many more.
You may not be able to find the exact same capacitor so may have to jiggery pokery the mounting/connecting of it.
What is important is the capacitance and the working voltage.
It is probably a non-polarized electrolytic capacitor but I am not sure about this.
Probably why I got it for free. Thanks for the info. I kinda a figured it must not be a seperate item from the motor after I started looking at parts. Just needed confirmation.
