Attaching WPW10320510 lower spray arm

Main Symptom: trying to reattach lower spray arm
What happens & when: After I detached lower spray arm so I could access and clear debris, I cannot get it to reattach. I put everything else back together, ordered a new WPW10320510 lower spray arm, and it still will not attach. I am about to order lower spray arm hub WPW10077898 which as you know is painful to replace just to deal with what is likely the threads on both of these being worn out.

I may have caused this myself in not being efficient in how I removed the lower spray arm from the lower spray arm hub in the first place.

Any tips on getting these back together would be appreciated!

Check the threads on the hub when attaching it to the wash arm.

visually the threads on the spray arm definitely look wonky, I thought the hub looked better but it’s entirely possible they were already worn (this unit is purchased Sep 2008) and/or got worn in my disassembly and attempted reassembly
