My MODEL #SF303PEKWO is set up for propane. The problem is with the oven. The igniter lights but the oven doesn’t fire-up. I’m going to go ahead and replace both the igniter and gas valve for the oven. Question. Is the gas valve used on this propane set up stove & oven the same as the one used on a natural gas stove or will I need a propane gas valve? Please educate me! THANKS!
Bullet,
You most likely need an igniter,
But since you’re replacing both components,
No, you will not need to convert the bake burner valve to LP GAS.
(That’s done at the regulator and oriface(s).
You do need to make sure you have a clean burner oriface and holes in the burner tube(especially near the igniter mounting area).
That should get you to optimum operation.
Good Luck,
Thanks JOE! I appreciate quick response.
You’re quite welcome,
It was my pleasure to help
