Amana washer making a buzzing sound, does not wash, maybe bad transmission?

Hi, my Amana part# NTW4600VQ1 washer started making this buzzing sound and stopped washing, i called a technician, he told me the motor was finished. I changed the motor, it worked a few times until it started making the buzzing sound again and stopped washing. I noticed i see the coupler turn once and jamz, a friend of mine told me it’s the transmission assembly, so i looked up part # 3360629 (Direct Drive Washer, Transmission Geracase Clutch and Coupler). Any suggestions as to what might be my problem? My friend told me it might be the spring on the shaft and that i overload the washer, the motor turns but seems like the transmission doesn’t serve its purpose?

Thanks for all your suggestions!

Perhaps this video will help show you what seems to be the problem, i’m an IT expert thus have no knowledge of washers, thanks for your help!

Sounds like the transmission has gone bad. I would recommend to replace it together with the clutch assembly and the motor drive coupling. It will make the repair much more reliable.
