Main Symptom: incorrect rotation of drum
What happens & when: The drum should rotate clockwise, but after a new motor it spinds counter clockwise. Based on my reading, that can cause damage and is causing some loud noises so it shouldn’t be left.
Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: The old motor was a W10396029 and the new motor is a W10448892, which I have been assured is correct. I have verified the wiring, the pulley, and the belt and none of that is incorrect so it must be the motor but im not sure how to fix it.
Update after posting: the old motor is fine, i just had to replace it due to a burnt terminal on the wiring block. I decided to swap wiring blocks on the motors to see what changed. After successfully swapping the blocks and testing, both spin counter clockwise now. Is it an issue with the wiring harness?
