After reading other posts about long drying times I cleaned the lint from where it exits the house the little flaps at the exterior of the house were open but semi plugged with lint, everything at the dryer itself looked good. I did notice the heating element cycles on for approx 30 seconds then off for approx a minute then back on etc. Can anyone tell me if this seems normal im drying the first load since cleaning out the lint. I didnt time this cycle before cleaning out the lint so I have no data to compare it to. Thnx
Disconnect the vent hose from the dryer and run a load to see if there is any difference in drying time. Cleaning the vent outlet is not enough. The whole vent has to be cleaned.
