I have an Amana Big oven that is giving me fits. I have replaced the upper and lower coils and the control panel, and the thermostat. It still will not heat at the regular rate. It heats a few seconds and then clicks and it seems to shut off for a few seconds and then it just keeps repeating itself. This goes on for a time and then the buzzer goes off to tell you its preheated and its not even close. I takes forever to heat up and never reads the proper temp. It’s in good condition but I’m ready to send it to the curb. HELP!!! PLEASE!!!
Here are your parts

I am assuming that the thermostat you replaced was the high limit thermostat (Item 26 in Section 1)
Since you have replaced just about everything all that is left is the oven sensor (Item 6 in Section 2) or a bad wiring connection.
Here is info on the sensor, check out 7, 8, 20 and 21.

Also I would check the power to the unit. Low power to the control board can do some very weird things.
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
[COLOR=“Red”]Be careful as 240 volts is lethal !!!

I think you may have helped find my problem. The specialists I have talked to in the past have given me all the replacement parts to try, but I kept asking if there was a high temp switch of some sort and I never seemed to get an answer on it. To respond to your answer, the thermostat I was refering to, is actually the oven sensor. I see the part you are refering to is the high limit switch. I was never able to find that part. Now that I see where it is, it should be a breeze to change out. I hope this is the real culprit to my problems. Thanks again.
