Spray your arm is still not rotating. Spoke with somebody at appliance parts they agreed that it might be a defective replacement part. However, then they sent me to this form. First of all, when the washer is running, can you hear the wash motor, if so, it is getting power. If the wash motor assembly included the new actuator, it should be good. Is there enough water in the tub? Is there any indication the upper spray arm is turning? In order for the arm to turn, there has to be enough water to build up pressure to push water through the spray arm. I am assuming it turns freely when you manually turn it by hand. We should be able to figure this out. Help me with some more info please.
Yes, we can hear the pump running and water flowing. The upper arm does move sometimes. The bottom not at all. There appears to be enough water in the tub. You can hear it flowing and spraying. During one of the washes I added about an extra quart just to make sure. That changed to nothing.Everything does spin freely by hand. Nothing binding.
So the symptoms of the arm not turning would be poor washing results. Is that why you determined the arm was not turning? How were you able to know it was not moving?
A while back we started hearing strange noises from the unit. Almost like a crying animal. We then noticed certain areas where not getting clean at all. We could no longer hear the sound of the sprayer rotating. Very easily heard with metal bowl. We could no longer hear the water hitting as it rotated.
I also, will start the cycle with the spray arm in a certain position. Several minutes in, I open the door. It’s still in the same position. Reset in a different position and repeat the process. The spray are does not move from the set position. If you never move the spray arm. You can see dishes that are noticeably soiled in the rack.
I am sending you a tech sheet. I need to make sure the diverter motor is getting power. Look at the service diagnostics on page 14, start the diagnostics and see if there are nay codes. On page 21 is the instructions on the diverter TechSheet-W10904613-RevB (1).pdf (4.3 MB)

OK, I ran the sequence three times. Each time I got a 2-1 pause, 2-1 pause, 2-1 followed by a 4-3 pause, 4-3 pause, 4-3 pause. I honestly have no idea what these mean or how to decipher their meaning based on your information sheets.
Look at page 17, the 4-3 is a wash motor fault code. I don’t see a 2-1 error code. Go to page 15, clear error codes, run it again and see if any other error codes come up.
OK, I reset the error code. It was running between normal and. Quick wash for a while. And then stopped. It’s now running a normal cycle, but the bottom sprayer is not working.
I had to head out for the weekend. I will trek for error codes when I return on Sunday. Thank you for your help so far. Hopefully we can make this work.
