Admiral AED4475TQ1 dryer heating issue

Brand: Admiral
**Model Number: AED4475TQ1 **
**Main Symptom: Not heating fully **
**What happens & when: I have recently had to run my clothes for 2 cycles to get them dry, this has never been the case the dryer has always run hot and dried my clothes in short order. I bought myself a multimeter and tested the cycling thermostat and high limit thermostat - the cycling thermostat read OL so I replaced it. Now, after the replacement, the dryer runs but it runs completely cold. Before I replaced that part, it ran warm, just not hot enough.

I’m new to this but I’m committed to learning how to fix some of these household issues. If someone can point me in the right direction for next steps, that would be great. thanks!**

Error Code (if any): none
Parts or tests already tried: replaced cycling thermostat

Test to make sure that there is 240 Vac to the heater. If there is but no heat then the heater would be the issue.

I used my multimeter to test the heater, thermostats and thermal fuse. all fine. I’m pretty sure my issue is with the timer, after consulting with various other youtube videos and forums. I put the old cycling thermostat back in and took apart the timer, I’m noticing some burn marks on the terminals inside the timer. Once I put everything back together I got some heat but not enough. thanks for your reply!
