Main Symptom: after a cycle when you open the door, water comes out from the door Kenmore washer machine

It is not uncommon for a little water to sit in the door boot but you would want to check to make sure that there is nothing clogging the ports in it.
I did look, cannot find anything wrong visually with the boot gasket but the water is staying inside the door when it opens drips out, should I go ahead and buy a new boot gasket for the door?
It does sound like the door boot may be the issue.
