anyone knows some do-it-yourself fixing of airconditioning unit?
I am very familiar with central units Gas or electric and heat pumps.
I will be glad to assist if I can. I am old school retired so I am not really up on these newer computerized units. However I used to operate an HVAC supply house so I know lots of HVAC repairmen in my area.

okay i have an unit problem we think that it stopped working cause of the age . but thats our opinion. we resently bought the house and it was there but i we dont exactly know wats wrong. so we were wondering if u could help me.

The fan blows but no cold

You might want to look into purchasing a portable ac unit while your central ac gets fixed. My central unit has been out for some time now and its about 400 to fix it, but it will take 3 weeks to get the guy out here to fix it. For my opinion you should hire an AC repair Company who can deal with your unit with great care as AC is a big unit to handle and you Can’t repair it by your own.
