[FONT=Arial Black][SIZE=4]My microwave oven (purchased btw. 1994 - 1996) suddenly started making a roaring/rumbling noise. I thought the turntable had come off track. But it was still turning (not sure if correct speed), light was still on, but I’m not sure it was heating correctly. I did not try to use it again for fear of it blowing up :eek: ! Any clues?

I would disconnect the turn table motor and see if it still makes the noise.
