1970's frigidaire gas self cleaning oven unlock

 Okay…so I am dumb…I’ve never had a self cleaning oven and last night while at my bf’s I baked a cake and when I switched the oven to “off” I flipped it to “clean” instead. When the stove began beeping, I noticed the “start” light was blinking and my natural reaction was to push it. I then heard the oven lock latch start to move and realized I was in clean mode. I immediately opened the oven door thinking it would cancel (there is no cancel button), but now the lock has moved too far to close the oven door tightly and I can’t figure out how to cancel so the lock will return to the normal state. I feel really stupid so please don’t harrass me about this. I just need a quick fix without having to call a repair man. All I know is that the stove has to be from the 1970’s because it is the harvest gold color, and it is a gas freestanding range. Any help is appreciated…thanks.

You can read some tips about that occurrence at the following link:

I hope it helps.
