Currently I don't have the money to fix it or get a new one. Is it safe to continue using my microwave as is, with a broken carousel or turntable?

What would probably happen is the food will be burnt in one spot and cold in another, because the microwaves are not being distributed evenly. According to most manufacturers it is not safe to use a microwave with a broken turntable. We can't really comment on this one way or another due to liability.
