Very possible. It can be a bad bearings in the blower motor or a foreign object in the blower wheel. You have to remove the oven and the rear cover to diagnose the fan.

Gene, sorry about the delay. I injured my back and am just now able to tackle this job. Anyway, before I get back in to this, is there a quick solution, even though it might cost more. For example, could I replace the entire control module instead of just the fuse. If so, please provide a part number that I could order. The wife is ready for her oven back !

Thanks.

Tom

Hi Tom,

Replacing the control board should solve this problem with a small chance that something else can be wrong too.

- The part number for the control board is AP3595759

Gene.
I wish you to get well.

Thanks Gene. I think I will go this route. I replaced this exact part almost 2 years ago.

Gene, I received the replacement part today and the black plastic housing was cracked/chipped in one corner where the ribbon cable enters ... I decided to install anyway ... after installing I powered the unit up and had heat in the top (good news) ... I then checked the bottom and had heat (good news) ... I turned top and bottom on at same time and after a few seconds got a PF code ... unit went thru what appeared to be a power cycle and I tried all of the above again and seemed to work ok ... left it alone ... came back in to kitchen about 45 minutes later and had code E1 F2 ... so I assumed the only chance I had was that the ribbon cable was not plugged in tight ... opened it up and everything looked good ... powered back on, set clock and all appeared ok until I turned the upper oven on and got the E1 F2 code again ... any simple fix?

Thanks Gene,

Tom

Hi Tom,

If you found the part was damaged then you had to return it right away. You can not rely on such part. Call the customer service to exchange the part under the part warranty.

OK, I will contact them, but I am considering seeing if they will just accept a return and I will call a repair person to fix the unit. Momma needs her oven!

Thanks for your help.

Tom
