My GE JGBP28GEL Oven and Broiler will not ignite. The display does not show any error codes. I replaced the oven ignitor but it still doesn't light. I tested the voltage on the Electronic Oven Control (EOC) and it looks like there isn't any voltage coming from the relay to the ignitor. I also noticed that there isn't any voltage coming from the broiler relay to its ignitor. BTW, I tested each after turning the oven/broiler feature on to initiate the relay sequence. I tested continuity between the two terminals on the gas valve and it came back as closed (not infinity). I don't believe this model has a thermal fuse so that rules that out.

Is this an EOC problem? I also read that it could be an oven sensor issue but that is usually associated with a trouble code. Please help me troubleshoot this issue.

Thanks in advance,

Thanks guys! After testing all the connections and noticing that the timer switch was not passing power through the relays, I bit the bullet and sent the switch to be repaired. I installed it today and everything fired up! Now, I have a new ignitor and a repaired switch so it should last another 10 years. I appreciate all your efforts in helping me.
