I am replacing my dryer's idler pulley wheel and the arm that holds it. Together they make a terrible squaking sound, so I'm just replacing them both. I was just wondering if these items need any type of grease or if they should go together dry... sorry if this is vague and confusing, this isn't something I do very often. THANKS for any help!!

A little grease does not hurt, just a thin coat on the idler shaft will do as it does seem to attract and hold dust/lint. |
