Started shutting down mid-cycle (got "PF" code). Felt too hot inside dryer. Cleaned hose and vent, used on lower temperature for short time. Now won't start, all lights are on, all controls working, and hear switch "click" when depress "start," but does not start. Got F-01 code. Have checked circuit breakers, lint trap screen and internal tub edges for coins, lint, etc...see nothing.

The same EXACT thing happened to my dryer on Sunday. It dried very hot and then stopped tumbling, but still counted down, lights ok
Could it be the ground heating element? Unit was purchased in Nov 2007.
