My dryer will start just by turing the cycle knob (without hitting the start button) and it will stay running with the door open. I've tested the door swith and start switch and they are both working properly. The dryer will only run for about ten to fifteen minutes and the shut off. It won't start at all after it shuts down.

I am guessing that your motor is failing, although you may want to try replacing the start switch which could be a cheap and easy fix if that is the problem.
