My dishwasher lights have stopped and now it does not run at all. I ordered a new control board #8530929 which did not correct the problem. I read somewhere to check the Thermal Fuse before ordering the control board, which I did with my Fluke 89 IV digital Multimeter - o ohms resistance which tells me the "fuse" is not bad. What am I doing wrong?

are you getting 110-volts to dishwasher . if so check for continuity at the door latching micro-switches .switch circuit breaker off before doing this test

This sounds like a difficult item to fix. I would remove power to water solenoid, remove inner door panel, jam door open with it, and close door latch. If full of water, bail it out first. You don't want water spraying on you while taking voltage measurements. Look for a bad power ground or a low voltage somewhere. If doing ohms checks, make sure one wire is disconnected from each component tested.
