My GE Profile (PGS908SEM1SS) oven no longer works. Its only 3 years old. The gas range works, but neither the Bake nor Broil settings work for the oven. When I start the oven, the display just shows "100" degrees and the oven never heats. I do hear the relay click after hitting start button.

A few online search point to Glow-Bar and/or ignition. Is there any way to be certain? And is this a DIY project or time to call a professional? Also, would like to know what I can expect to pay to have this repaired?

Thanks in advance,
Marms

Oven heats up very slow to the degrees set point. It sounds like the oven is starting and stopping. Can't cook that way

I also have a GE Profile oven/range model number PGS908SEM1SS. It to will not bake or broil. Temperature just sits at 100 degrees. How did you fix your oven? I would love to know if you DIY or called a Pro? Also what did it cost you?
Thanks
Heather

Same problem exactly. It just sits at 100 and won't heat. Any one have info on what the repair turned out to be? I have an unnamed apple pie:(

Glow-Bar needs to be replaced. GE repair charges about $200. The part is about $40.
