The ice maker in my whirlpool has gone to producing only one cycle of ice per day. Before a couple of weeks ago it would fill the ice bin in 1-2 days max. I pulled the cover off and jumped the water valve and it is working. When it does make ice it seems to cycle properly with the tray refilling with water. I turned the temp down another half notch and nothing changed. When it makes ice the cubes are full and solid also all the food and ice cream in the freezer are frozen as they should be. What should I be looking at to correct this problem?

PS. Posted a dryer problem last week got your answer ordered new gas valve coils from your web site and fixed the problem. All of my appliances were purchased seven years ago and they are starting to have minor failures.
